Trivia
In the trailer and in the film, Wade Wilson requests, "Don't make the super suit green--or animated!" This is a reference to Ryan Reynolds' previous role as the DC superhero Green Lantern (2011), in which, as stated, the green suit was a special effect rather than an actual costume for Reynolds to put on. This is also a crude reference to that film's director, Martin Campbell, who he did not get along with. See more »
Goofs
After finding the picture of Wade and Vanessa, Angel Dust mentions that she has seen Vanessa before. However, the two had no previous interaction at this point of the movie, nor did Angel Dust see any photos of her. See more »

Crazy Credits
The scene after the credits shows Deadpool in a bathrobe, making fun of you, the viewer, for sticking around for so long. He also talks about the sequel, and says it will feature Cable. Then he makes a few jokes about the casting, and pokes at other movies that usually tease future movies in these scenes. See more »

User Reviews

A superhero movie that is at its best when it's not taking itself too seriously.
13 April 2016 | by Carlo Castillo (Philippines) – See all my reviews

Deadpool wasn't supposed to be made, but I am glad it was. As with the comic book character, Deadpool is at his best because of his self-deprecating humor and his fourth-wall-breaking style. Ryan Reynolds inhabits the character with aplomb, making good use of his well-honed comic timing and a genuinely funny script to deliver a character so funny, irreverent and relentless, you begin to wonder why it almost wasn't made into a movie, and why studios weren't that much into it in the first place.

No one knows who actually leaked the test footage that kicked all of this off, but thank goodness it happened.

What a ride! Here's waiting for the next one!
